Will is a commercial litigator at Reconstruct LLP. Will litigates business disputes, class actions, securities, corporate litigation, privacy issues, and professional negligence claims. He brings a highly technical, strategic approach to prosecution of claims, representing a client base that includes private entities, publicly traded companies, directors, and financial stakeholders across the technology, mining, and finance sectors.

Will has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada, Court of Appeal for Ontario, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Federal Court, Ontario Securities Commission, Alberta Securities Commission, Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario, Health Professions Appeal and Review Board, and Discipline Committee of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Will also acts as counsel in commercial arbitration and mediation proceedings. 

Will authored the chapter Privacy in the practitioner’s textbook Virtual Advocacy: Litigating from a Distance. Will has also served as an Adjunct Moot Advisor of the University of Toronto Law School’s Corporate Securities Competitive Moot Program, and as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Western Ontario Law School’s Advanced Securities course. Will is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Advocates’ Society. Outside of his practice, Will serves on the board of SPRINT Senior Care. 

For his achievements, Will has been recognized by his peers in leading legal publications. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch Canada in Corporate and Commercial Litigation and as part of the 2024 Commercial Litigation Team of the Year by the Canadian Law Awards.

Prior to joining RECON, Will practiced in the litigation department at McCarthy Tetrault LLP. He obtained his Master of Law from the University of Toronto, his Bachelor of Arts in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford, and his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics and Philosophy from Wilfrid Laurier University.
